Making of Ahri's tails

Description

K I think I'll add an explanation of what I used since I've received a ton of questions about it.

1. I used 5mm wire to make the nine tails.
2. I attached them to a pocket sized photobook that carries wallet sized pictures. You can really use anything that won't hurt your butt, but is sturdy enough to hold all those tails up.
3. Lots and lots of Gorilla tape were used to make it sturdy enough to hold the tails and be worn against my tailbone area.
4. I used elastic bands found in sewing stores to somehow come up with a way to hold it and make it stay onto myself. Honestly, it REALLY uncomfortable, and if I can find a better way to improve this part, I would. 5.   5. Cause the only way to make it stay on myself, was to put the elastic bands over my stomach and hips, and the bands over my stomach were pretty sore after a couple hours.
6. I used maybe 2? yards of white fluffy faux fur and cut them into long ovalish shapes.
7. Stuffed animal stuffing was used to fill the tails. Then I used an extra bunch of fur to cover the base, and then sewed all the tails to the base and each other.

I was wondering where did you buy your faux fur? And how much did it cost? Was 2 yards enough to make 9 tails? I'm looking on joanns, and was wondering since I'm planning to cosplay Ahri myself. Thanks!
